Tennessee pop-rockers Paramore have announced that former Lostprophets and Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin will play drums for them on their forthcoming – and currently untitled – new album.

The new record, which will be their fourth, will see Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis, and Taylor York joined by experienced sticksman Ilan Rubin – who looks like he’ll be plying his trade for Paramore for the foreseeable future.

The news came after a tweet from the official Paramore Twitter, which read: “Ladies and Gentlemen, our drummer for the 4th album.. Mr. Ilan Rubin YAYYYYY!!!!”. They also posted a picture of Rubin in action – you can see it on the above right.

It’s unknown whether he’ll be joining the band for their three UK appearances in August, so stay with Stereoboard for future updates. If you need Paramore tickets, check the dates and details below. Paramore will return to the UK in August for a short run of live shows that includes a performance at Northen Ireland’s Belsonic Festival, an intimate Scottish show and a headline performance at the Reading and Leeds festival.
